You will be required to provide certain documentation to your Lender prior to getting approved for your loan. Below are listed some items that your lender will ask you to provide.

  • Employment information and verification (usually for the last 2 years).
  • Copies of the most recent pay stubs from your employer covering the last 30 days.
  • Self-employed must submit 2 most recent years of Federal Income Tax Returns
  • History of Habitat (usually for the last 2 years).
  • W2s (usually for the last 2 years).
  • 3 most recent bank statements for every account including account numbers and names and addresses for all owners.
  • 2 most recent statements for all retirement and investment accounts.
  • Social Security number and Driver's License.
  • If you are renting a home, names and contact information for your Landlord for the last 2 years, as well as lease agreement.
  • If you receive any child support or alimony, provide a copy of your cancelled checks indicating receipt of support or income.
  • The Purchase Contract agreed to by all parties.
  • Rental property 'rent roll'.
  • Divorce decree if necessary.
  • Credit Report, or permission to run one.
  • Fee for application, appraisal and credit report.
